Commonly asked questions or comments
Q. This domain is the
name of my business. Aren't you Cybersquatting?
A. The Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA), 15 U.S.C. ยง 1125(d),
is an American law enacted in 1999 and established a cause of action for registering,
trafficking in, or using a domain name confusingly similar to, or dilutive of, a trademark
or personal name. (emphasis added)
If we own a domain that is infringing upon your registered mark with the United
States Patent and Trademark Office, please let us know through our contact
information.
If we simply own the domain that matches the name of your business, non-profit,
group or project, that is not cybersquatting.
We own, operate and manage hundreds of geographically targeted domains, and it's not
uncommon for more than one business or group to share a particular name.
